Special article for Adobe software development. As a professional photographer it's hard to find the ultimate editing solution. For me it's a mix between Lightroom and Capture One.
- Editing photos without importing. Just like in C1 and Adobe Bridge create a cash in same folder and create XMP files. I don't need the library so maybe create an option to disable the library. Then you can simply browse the hard drives.
- Selective HSL adjustments. For interior it's often needed to color shift only one specific part in the photo.
- Selection pointer for black, middle gray and white (like in C1) to adjust the levels very fast instead of sliding with exposure and the blacks and look at the histogram.
- Try to improve the loading time in the develop module. Or some viewing options for that module so you can change it to your needs. Time is everything with many photos.
- Mutiple outputs selection. For now you can only export with one option and have to export again for another. Why not in one go like in C1?
- While exporting photos in LR it takes a lot of CPU. I'd like to use the time while exporting for other programs without hick-ups.
- Chromatic Abberation is still a big issue in LR. C1 rules for eliminating ca. In LR even the total color changes when you select the find edges or all edges option.
Thanks for reading. LR3 has been a great improvement already.
